Israel Partners With MassChallenge Program Pulse For Digital Health Initiative

Israeli Innovation AuthorityJune 12, 2018 | The Israel Innovation Authority has announced a partnership with the PULSE@MassChallenge program, a Boston-based public-private digital health initiative, to connect Israeli digital health startups with local healthcare providers and corporations. The collaborations established through the PULSE program will help startups’ reach critical milestones such as pilot and validation phases, strategic investment, and ongoing partnerships. The Israel Innovation Authority will promote these newly established connections and fund the pilot and validation projects of startups with grants. In addition, the selected startups will receive awards, scholarships, mentoring, and market assistance from PULSE. Israeli digital health companies can apply to the PULSE@MassChallenge program through the Israel Innovation Authority’s Americas desk.

“Israel has more than 1,400 life science companies and close to 500  digital health alone. Through this partnership with PULSE@MassChallenge, we will connect the most innovative Israeli startups with Massachusetts life sciences champions including healthcare providers and corporations. This will support validation of the startups’ technologies and promote co-development with local partners in the digital health ecosystem. We are proud to be partnering with such a forward-looking organization as MassChallenge, particularly in such a crucial field as healthcare, where so many can benefit,” Israel Innovation Authority CEO Aharon Aharon said in a statement.

PULSE@MassChallenge’s program connecting startups and clinical communities, includes startup programs, mentoring, networking events, panel discussions, pitch contest, and co-work opportunities. It remains part of MassChallenge, the global non-profit startup accelerator and competition focusing on the early stage entrepreneur with headquarters in Boston. They are also involved with TechSpring, the Massachusetts health technology innovation center.
